AAC has the potential to enhance communication and increase participation for the more than 5 million Americans who have severe disabilities resulting in complex communication needs. This presentation provides an overview of research, development, training, and dissemination activities conducted by the RERC on AAC to advance knowledge and improve outcomes for these individuals.
